Greetings! And today I want to introduce you to a selection of very tasty salad recipes with pomegranates. After all, this is not only very famous, but also many other variations. This fruit adds a unique twist to fairly simple ingredients, even beets, beef, etc.

They also love to use it to decorate dishes. Ruby grains look very rich and elegant, and they can also be used to lay out various ornaments. At the very end of the article I will give several options for decorating salads for inspiration.

You can use seedless pomegranates for salads. These types have been on sale for a long time.

This recipe is very simple, but has a unique twist. It lies in the unusual taste and aroma of onions. After all, we will have it.

Also, in addition to the fact that the salad is hearty, it has a fairly small amount of carbohydrates, because the main ingredients are chicken and cheese.

If you replace mayonnaise with something lighter, such as plain yogurt, you will also get a very healthy dish.


Let's take:

  • 250 g chicken breast,
  • 1 peeled pomegranate
  • 90 g onion,
  • 90 g cheese,
  • salt pepper,
  • mayonnaise.

For the marinade we take:

  • 5 tbsp. apple cider vinegar,
  • 2 tbsp. Sahara,
  • 3 tbsp. hot water.

First we need to cook the meat. To do this, we boil the chicken in salted water. The breast should be placed in cold water. This is important, then when boiling the protein will curdle and close the pores of the meat, and this will not allow meat juice to escape into the broth. This way we will get a juicy tasty chicken breast for the salad.

As soon as the meat begins to chew well, remove it from the broth, cool and cut it. You can also simply separate it into fibers with a fork or even your hands.


Now let's move on to preparing the onions. It needs to be cut into cubes and doused with boiling water. We do this so that it does not become bitter.

For the marinade we need to take hot water. Dissolve sugar and vinegar in it. Mix and pour in our onion.

Let it soak in this aromatic brine for about 20 minutes, and then drain it in a colander or sieve.


Now you need to clean the pomegranate from the peel and partitions. You can watch the video on how to do this. I placed it at the end of the article.

Shake out all the grains from the fruit.

All that remains is to cut the cheese. It is better to give it the shape of cubes.


Now you need to give all the ingredients a beautiful look. To do this, we will collect the salad in layers and in a transparent plate.

The first row is filled with chicken; we immediately place the second row of pickled onions on it.

We soak these products with mayonnaise.

Then lay out the pomegranate seeds, on which the cheese cubes will fit.

And again soak it well with mayonnaise sauce.

Decorate the snack with grains on top and put it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. Then the layers will be saturated and the snack will be very juicy.

We extract the seeds from the pomegranate. Pour them into a salad bowl, but add a little for decoration.


Boil the shrimp in salted water; they cook for only 3 minutes after boiling.

Let's start by preparing the raw ingredients. Boil the squid for no more than 2 minutes in boiling water. Then we remove the skin from it and take out the vitreous body.

Cut the carcasses into rings.


Carefully remove the seeds from the pomegranate.

Wash the apples, cut off all the bruised areas, and remove the core. And cut the fruits into pieces. To prevent them from turning black, sprinkle them with lemon juice.


Chop and tear the leaves of Chinese cabbage with your hands.


Mix all the prepared ingredients and add salt and pepper.


We will season with olive oil, but you can also replace it with mayonnaise.

Salad with pomegranates, prunes and walnuts

And this is a very festive and quite high-calorie recipe. The combination of dried fruits, chicken and walnuts is very bright.


Let's take:

  • 150 g prunes,
  • 100 g chicken meat,
  • 1 apple,
  • 20 g raisins,
  • 50 g walnuts,
  • 170 g mayonnaise,
  • half a lemon.

For decoration:

  • 8 pcs. prunes (not smoked),
  • 1 pomegranate (medium).

Place the chicken fillet in cold salted water and boil until tender.
Let cool and divide the meat into fibers. We move it aside and move on to preparing other products.


Wash the prunes in warm water. And dry it on a paper towel. Then cut each piece into 8-9 pieces.

We wash the raisins to remove twigs and substandard ones. And cut each berry in half.

Grind the nuts in a coffee maker, blender or through a mortar. You can also put the kernels in a plastic bag and roll them with a rolling pin.

We assemble the layers using half of the total volume of products. So that we can repeat the sequence next to each other twice.

Finely chop the eggs and crab sticks. Place in a container, add pomegranate seeds. Stir, season with yogurt. Garnish with remaining red beans.
If desired, you can add any boiled vegetables and herbs to the appetizer. Sometimes it is prepared on the basis of boiled rice.

Pomegranate and walnut salad

On fasting days or days when you can’t eat meat, you can pamper your family with a simple delicious dish. It is prepared on the basis of:
potatoes - 5 large tubers;
red onion;
grenade;
fresh herbs;
peeled walnuts – 340 g;
salt, hot pepper;
vegetable fat, lemon juice.
The potatoes are boiled in their skins, peeled and cut into cubes. The onion is chopped, the nut kernels are crushed in a mortar. Chop the greens, remove the pomegranate seeds.
Combine all products in a bowl and stir. Add spices to taste, salt. Season with a mixture of lemon juice and vegetable oil. Place beautifully in a salad bowl and serve immediately after cooking.
Often baked pumpkin, prunes, and lettuce are added to this salad. The taste is improved with honey, mustard, and various spices. You can lay out the appetizer in the shape of a heart, thereby creating a romantic atmosphere for a festive dinner.
