Therefore, we simply take the oil out of the refrigerator in advance so that it reaches the desired temperature on its own.

Wheat flour must be sifted through a sieve - this will make the zebra cake more airy.

Zebra cake can be cooked in and baked in a slow cooker, but since I didn’t have kefir at home, I made it without it. The result pleased me - the dough turned out airy!   • Milk – 5 tbsp.
  • Butter – 40 grams.

How to serve a cake correctly

In my opinion this cake no need to decorate further, because a painted flower on the surface of a cake is already a wonderful decoration. But when I want to treat this cake to children, I water it chocolate icing. Children lick the chocolate first and only then start eating the cake. I will share the glaze recipe.

For the glaze we need:

  • Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp.
  • Sugar – ½ cup.
  • Milk – 5 tbsp.
  • Butter – 40 grams.

Add cocoa powder, milk, sugar to the pan. Heat over low heat, whisking constantly. In 2-3 minutes when all the ingredients have melted, add the butter oil and mix again with a whisk. If the mixture turns out to be very liquid, boil it a little. Turn off the fire. After 10 minutes When the glaze has cooled, pour it over our cake.

Above you can add more rosettes made from whipped cream or sprinkled with grated chocolate. Separately, you can serve condensed milk in bowls with the cake.
