Secondary cleaning machines distribute the grain mass into four fractions:

The ZAV complex is used for processing the harvested grain crops, cereals, and oilseeds. This complex includes a whole set of machines and equipment that are connected into one production line, making up two departments.

First department Designed for preliminary cleaning of grain mass from impurities, both large and small. Here the grain is temporarily stored in ventilated bunkers. Operating principle of the ZAV grain cleaning complex

The grain mass first falls into the dam pit. From there it moves onto a conveyor, which redirects it to the elevator. Next, the grain undergoes preliminary cleaning in the machine.

The next stage is that the grain enters the mesh conveyor. Here large impurities, such as straw, spikelets and other debris, are separated from the main grain mass.

Next, the grain is subjected to air-wind cleaning, where it is cleared of light impurities. Impurities are removed outside where they are transferred to the waste bin. The main grain mass is poured into a bucket into a compartment for temporary storage.

From the temporary storage compartment, the grain is moved to the grain cleaning machine via a conveyor and elevator for its final cleaning.
